I like the location. The breakfast salon is very well. The room was clean but small. Generally it worths your money.
Nice small city hotel near Termini Station. Room was small but very clan and tidy. Breakfast was adquate. Staff were very helpful at all times. Good location, easy to get to public transport. Ideal for a Rome city break.
The location of the hotel was good. It is near Termini trane station. Two metro stations - 5 min walk. You can reach every site in 15 min.
Room was very very small. The toilet was even smaller. The was no toilet brush in it.
Very helpful people at the reception, very good location near Termini and all city buses and tour buses, and great breakfast on the roof of the hotel!
Nice manager and helpful
The room is a little bit small for couple
Location was great next to train station and open top bus tours, staff were charming.
I had booked a triple room but was disappointed at the size - 3 single beds shunted together with a small gap to move around. The triple room was meant to be 23 square metres but this looked like one of the double rooms with a single bed added! The staff could not move us to a bigger room as they were fully booked but offered to do so on our second night, we decided against this as it was not worth it having unpacked all our stuff. The very charming manager at reception sent us up a gratis bottle of wine for the small room, however travelling with 3 year old twins and 2 adults I would rather have had the bigger room that I expected upon booking. The roof top garden was only open for breakfast, would have been nice to have this space available at other times of the day (especially due to the small rooms which can be claustrophobic)
Reception staff very positive and helpful. Breakfast generous and varied for all tastes. Air condition good.
Rooms small. No English speaking channel on tv. Bbc not available though listed on programme list.
Roof garden breafast!!!!!!!!!!!
Stayed for 3 nights in Domus Aurea, chose the hotel for closeness to the Termini station and read that they have excellent breakfasts...and that`s true! There is plenty of everything you would like to eat in the morning: cereales (3 types) with nuts, dried apricots, prunes etc yogurts - natural and with fruits. At least 3 types of cheese + sliced bacon, meat, ham, omelette with hot bacon, sweet corn. Different types of coffee in coffee-machine, tea: black green fruit, juice:apple and orange + various baked goods: muffines, croissants, pies + berry and chocolate jams. Fuits!: apples, oranges, kiwi, melon. So if you have such a breakfast, you can travel around the city with easily till the evening meal for sure, maybe with a little lunch during the day)) We stayed in quite nice and modern room - windows on a small street, maybe for someone a little bit tiny but it`s enough space for 2 people especially we only slept there. Bathroom is veryyyyy good clean and modern, shower is strong and everytime has hot water, there are all bath accessories which you can need... but only 1 tooth brush for 2 people))) Slippers - but if you want be sure you`l have it in your room write on reception in advanced.Plazma TV - practically all channels are italian: 1 spanish+1 german. Wi-fi in lobby and in rooms. Very friendly responsive sympathetic pleasant responsible staff !!! - ready to help everytime and in everything.
Can be little bit fresh in the morning but there is a blanket in the wardrobe. Be careful during taking a shower some water always go out of shower cubicle - its place near and under the radiator - in case you put someting to dry. Also its little bit uncomfortbale light in the room especially for women - make up))
Within 5 minutes walk of bus/train connections with the airport and to every location in Rome and beyond Friendly and informative greeting at reception Room/bathroom spotlessly clean and comfortable Breakfast sumptuous and varied Antonio on reception was a fount of knowledge about his beloved city. With his help we were able to walk to most places and take in sites we would have missed without his help. Just tell him what your interests are and within seconds you have a personalised annotated map in front of you. Management was reassuringly present and interested in the views of their guests. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Thanks to all the staff for making this such an enjoyable stay.
Good location (5 minutes walk from the airport bus shuttle and turist bus stops), friendly staff, plentiful and delicious breakfast, excellent view from the roof garden, free wi-fi in the rooms.
A bit cramped room, sometimes noisy guests sitting lately in the inside yard behind the window.
Helpful staff, very kindness. Good location to train station
The location. The hotel is located pretty close to Termini Station, from where you can take train to the whole Italy and subway to any part of Rome. The breakfast was very good.
The frontdesk employees, some of them absolutely not friendly and arrogant. The room where small, not comfortable and the blankets were very old with roles in the fabric.
We were taking the train to Venice after spending 2 nights in Rome. Since we brought too much in our suitcases, we needed easy access to the Termini. Easy access to the metro was a plus. The room was very small but equally nice and the bathroom was great.
convenience to trains, buses, restaurants
